Have you noticed are government does not pay much attention to the wishes of the people of the United States or that the news media spends more time on glitz, glamour and speculation than facts, figures and reality? The news media could do a better job delivering the unbiased facts rather than delivering entertainment and speculation? But then, are we paying enough attention to the government and what they are doing or not doing? Are we doing are part like staying informed, voting, voicing our opinions and desires? Some people are being good citizens, but everyone needs to do their very best in caring for this country. This country has some big problems to be solved ASAP! Our enemies are greed, selfishness, apathy, and procrastination. Our allies are action, patriotism, statesmanship and our fellow concerned and political active citizens.
This is your call to action. This is the time to get our governments (Federal, State and Local) to work for the people of the United States of America rather than special interest groups like medical insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, etc.! Or maybe you like the current state of affairs in the US governments. If that is the case, no action is needed, just go back to sleep and hope that the correct actions will be taken despite you “help”. On the other hand, if you believe our government is in the need for “some” changes, then it is time to start taking action to get the governments heading in the correct direction. It is not the time to Procrastinate or let the feelings of Apathy to take hold. What can one person do? A lot, when you work in concert with a lot of other individuals like your self.
Lets review what you already know, your elected government representatives have the power to make, change or repeal laws, which can fix and/or create problems. They have the power based on exiting laws and being elected into office by the voting public (you). To get the public’s vote (your vote) they spend large sums of money, which has been donated by the public and special interest groups, on all forms of communications. The special interest groups get their money from the product and services you and every one else buy. You as an individual have very little power, but the voting public in concert has a lot of power by how they vote, spend money and voice their opinions. The elected representative needs to know what the voting public wants and needs. They also need to be reminded from time to time. Their speeches give the impression of knowing the needs of the public but things change and it is easy to forget when big money is “yelling in your ear”. So, from time to time the people need to “Speak load and clear” expressing the public’s needs and wants.
Now to the action, create a circle of twelve (6 to 24 is ok) people. Each person that joins a circle is asked to start a new circle without duplicating members from the circle they joined. (Two members should not be in the same two circles.) We are creating a network of linked circles. This will form a peer-to-peer network. Everyone is equal status and importance. Anyone can start a message that can be sent though out the whole network or it might not even make it out of the circles in which he or she is a member. Each member can make the decision to forward or not. Hopefully everyone is on the same page and the message is forwarded, if that is the intent. Most message will be just discussions within a circle. With today’s communication tools it is easy to stay in close contact with members of your circle, the members of the network and the elected government. If every circle has 12 members, then when a message has been forward 7 times it will have reached more than 35 million people.
Stay informed and help keep the members of you circles informed. Distribute the workload so that everyone can stay abreast of the import issues of the day. Research the issues and share the inform giving due credit to the sources of the information. Try to reach a consensus, which can be communicated at the correct time in unison to the people that can take action. Use the network so that the voice of Americans can be heard loud and clear. Vote so you can be counted as caring for America!
